Crewe Regional

The first round of the North Region Series is always an interesting one with riders moving into higher age groups to test themselves and this was the same for some of the RABRacing team.

1st up was our youngest rider Isaac Smith who at only 4 years old is showing signs of becoming a future champion with some classy high/low moves in the berms. Isaac competed in the 6 & Unders and finished a fantastic 5th overall and im sure that result is something he will improve on as the season progresses and he gains even more confidence

Next up was Eli Smith and Lucas Sealey who where riding together in the 9 Boys. Lucas was riding up in this age group to help with his close contact and confidence of riding in a pack. Eli had some great moto results with a win, a 2nd and a 3rd with Lucas battling for 4th and two 3rd place finishes in his moto`s. With semi finals in the bag it was a nervous time for both parents and team managers looking for both Eil and Lucas to get into the A final. A fantastic semi win for Eli put him in the final and a confident ride from Lucas gained him a 3rd place and another team rider in the A Final. The final was a very close thing between all the riders and aswell as battling together as team mates both Eli and Lucas had club mates battling them aswell. In the end a 2nd place from Eli and a 4th from Lucas where rewards for a fantastic days racing from them both and had the paretns and team mamagers with smiles on their faces.

Next up was Ike Borowski and after a clean sweep in the motos it was onto the semi final which saw Ike go for a move in the second berm to take over the lead but end up da one footer and just managing to stay on his bike and finish with a 4th place and a place in the A Final. The final was more chilled for Ike and from the gate he moved across and into the lead to control the race from the front for a fantasticrace win. Well done Ike

With the team managers both getting older now and faster they decided it was time to ride with the adults and 17 - 24 age group. The motos threw up a mixed bag with Ryan not prgressing having finished 6th, 5th and 5th. Alex posted a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th which gave him a place in the semi. The semi was very close going into the first berm and Alex couldnt find the gaps to get through and it was a B Final on the day for him. His B Final was much better and a good gate put him in 3rd which he kept until the finish line.

A good day for the team and next week its Knowsley Regional which all the team are looking forward to.
